Programme, day by day
Day 1 · Hammamet → Kairouan → Tozeur
Visit of Kairouan and its Great Mosque, then across the steppe to Tozeur. Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 2 · 4×4 Chebika, Tamerza, Ong Jmel → Chott el Jerid → Douz
Morning by 4×4 to the mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza and the Star Wars set of Ong Jmel. Cross the Chott el Jerid salt lake to Douz. Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 3 · Douz → Matmata → El Jem → Hammamet
Troglodyte houses of Matmata, lunch, then the amphitheatre of El Jem before returning to your hotel in the evening.
