Programme, day by day
Day 1 · Hammamet → El Jem → Matmata → Douz
Early departure. Visit of El Jem's amphitheatre, lunch in Matmata and a troglodyte house, then Douz for sunset over the dunes. Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 2 · Chott el Jerid → Tozeur → Chebika & Tamerza → Kairouan → Hammamet
Cross the Chott el Jerid salt lake at sunrise, then 4×4 to the mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza. Lunch in Tozeur, return via Kairouan to your hotel in the evening.
